Stonum Winery estate in Lodi, California

About the Winery

A Legacy Rooted in Lodi

Stonum Winery has been part of the Lodi wine country landscape since the 1990s — a working estate built on the region's deep viticultural heritage and California's enduring love of the vine.

Our Story

Built to Last

Stonum Winery was established in Lodi, California — a region that has been growing wine grapes since the 1850s and is home to some of the oldest producing vines in the world. The estate was built with a long view: quality land, sound infrastructure, and a commitment to the craft of winemaking.

Over the decades, the winery developed a full operation — from vine to bottle — on a single contiguous property. The vineyards, production facility, tasting room, and cottage house all sit together, creating a self-contained estate that functions as both a working winery and a place to live.

Today, Stonum Winery is offered for sale as a complete, turnkey operation. Everything a buyer needs to continue producing wine under an existing brand — or to establish their own — is already in place.

The Lodi Region

Why Lodi

Lodi sits at the northern end of California's Central Valley, where the Sacramento–San Joaquin Delta funnels cool afternoon breezes across the vineyards. This natural air conditioning moderates the summer heat, preserving acidity and complexity in the grapes. Combined with deep, well-drained alluvial soils and over 300 days of sunshine per year, Lodi produces wines of genuine character.
